Jonathan McGill (DB/WR, Class of 2019)

Jonathan McGill is a 5-foot-11 180 pound defensive back and wide receiver that preps at Coppell High School in Coppell, Texas (Class of 2019).  As a freshman he had 55 tackles (31 solo), two tackles for loss, a fumble recovery, and five passes defended.  As a sophomore he carried the rock 11 times for 143 yards (13 ypc) and caught 29 passes for 255 yards and four touchdowns.  On defense McGill had 76 tackles (46 solo), two tackles for loss, two passes defended, and seven interceptions (returned for 126 yards), including one for a touchdown. Following the season McGill was named to the 6A All-State team and was the Defensive newcomer of the year.

McGill is rated 4-stars by Scout, and has not yet been rated by Rivals or ESPN.  He has a scholarship offer from Southern Methodist, and has seen recruiting interest from Florida State, Oklahoma, TCU, and Texas A&M.
