Connor Pay is a 6-foot-6 292 pound Offensive Tackle (Class of 2018). He preps at Lone Peak High School (Highland, Utah), where as a sophomore in 2015 he started on the varsity offensive and defensive lines and was named academic all-region and all-region honorable mention. As a junior (2016) he was awarded Academic All-Region once again and was named to the All-Region second team. Pay also plays on the Lone Peak baseball and basketball teams.
Pay is rated 3-stars by Scout and Rivals and is not yet rated by ESPN. His 247 Sports composite is 3-stars with a rating of 0.8355. He holds scholarship offers from BYU, Texas State, Utah, and Utah State and has seen recruiting interest from Boise State, Colorado, Notre Dame, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, Virginia, Washington, and Washington State.
Pay gave a verbal commitment to Brigham Young University on June 14, 2016. His father and uncle both played football at BYU in the 1980s and 1990s. Pay has plans to serve a two-year LDS mission immediately following high school, so he likely won’t join the BYU football program until 2020.
