Conner Schaffer (DE/OLB, Class of 2017)

Conner Schaffer is a 6-foot-4 230 pound defensive end and outside linebacker (Class of 2017).  He preps at Bryan County High School (Ellabell, Georgia), where he was a three year varsity starter.  As a senior Schaffer had one reception for 45 yards for a touchdown, 51 solo tackles with seven assisted tackle, 7.0 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, four pass breakups, a blocked field goal and a blocked punt, and one 60 yard interception return for a touchdown.  He was named an NUC All-American, two time NUC MVP, and an All-Region first team selection as a defensive lineman.

Schaffer is not yet rated by Scout, Rivals, or ESPN. He holds scholarship offers from Limestone, Palmetto Prep, and Trinity Bible College with preferred walk-on status at Kennesaw State, and has received recruiting interest from Alabama A&M, Temple, and Valdosta State.
